Shachar is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. His films have screened at the Sundance Film Festival, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, IFP Filmweek and numerous Oscar-qualifying film festivals, and have won awards from Sundance (Audience Award), The National Board of Review, and New York Women in Film and Television.

CURRENT WORK​  

Shachar is currently a producer and the DP on the documentary, FEAR AND NOW, about the HypnoBirthing method and birthing justice in the US.

 

He is a DP on a new docu-series for Climate Power, a green energy initiative championing the Biden administration's efforts to fight global warming.
